About the role

WHO WE ARE

We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business. It’s been our mission to Serve the World Flavor since we first opened in 1994, and we’re just getting started. 1997 saw the opening of our first brand partner operated Wingstop location, and by 2002 we had served the world one billion wings. It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry.

Above all else – our success is largely due to our people and our core values, or what we call The Wingstop Way of being entrepreneurial, service-minded, fun, and authentic. We believe having a strong people foundation centered on these collective values creates a crave-worthy culture and talented team, as well as ensures our brand is poised for accelerated growth. We all win together.

WHAT WE’LL NEED

The Pricing Analyst will support Wingstop’s Menu & Pricing vertical in developing, executing, and measuring menu-pricing, promotional, and value strategies. This role will turn pricing strategy into clear, market-relevant recommendations and disciplined execution that franchisees can understand and stand behind.

Working closely with Pricing, Menu Strategy, Marketing, Digital, Technology, Finance, Operations, and Franchise Business Management, the Pricing Analyst will provide the analytics, testing, execution coordination, and performance tracking that enable the Menu & Pricing team to make better decisions and implement them consistently.

Core Responsibilities

Pricing, Promotion & Menu Analytics

  • Support the development of pricing strategy, price guardrails, and governance through analysis of pricing, transactions, check, mix, cost, margin, guest behavior, and market conditions.
  • Conduct competitive price-gap and value-positioning analysis across relevant competitors.
  • Analyze pricing performance across markets and locations to identify opportunities and risks related to guest behavior, revenue, profitability, and value perception.
  • Support pricing recommendations for menu, promotional, and other commercial initiatives.
  • Support the development and refinement of pricing architecture, menu strategy, value propositions, and promotional guardrails.
  • Monitor pricing effectiveness and consistency across markets; identify opportunities to strengthen governance while allowing appropriate local flexibility.
  • Build clear, decision-ready analyses and materials for Pricing leadership, senior management, and franchisee-facing conversations.

Test, Learn & Measure

  • Support the design and execution of tests for pricing, value propositions, menu strategy, bundles, and promotions.
  • Define measurement plans and success criteria in partnership with the Menu & Pricing team.
  • Analyze test results and translate findings into recommendations to scale, refine, or discontinue initiatives.
  • Monitor the impact of pricing actions and surface insights, risks, and recommended actions in a timely manner.

Franchisee Engagement & Pricing Execution

  • Support franchisee engagement and change management throughout pricing rounds, including intake discussions, recommendation reviews, follow-up, and adoption tracking.
  • Monitor pricing requests and exceptions, escalating decisions as appropriate and helping maintain approved price architecture and governance.
  • Coordinate execution of approved pricing and promotional changes across relevant systems and consumer touchpoints.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to document requirements, support testing, confirm changes are implemented accurately, and resolve data or execution issues.
  • Support the Menu & Pricing team’s relationship with the revenue management system provider, including data validation, issue tracking, and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain clear documentation of pricing recommendations, test results, exceptions, execution status, and key assumptions.

Success Measures

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Quality, timeliness, and business relevance of pricing, promotion, and value analyses.
  • Accuracy and on-time execution of approved price and promotional changes.
  • Quality and usefulness of pricing reporting, dashboards, and test readouts.
  • Strength and timeliness of competitive pricing and market-value intelligence.
  • Effective cross-functional coordination across Pricing, Menu Strategy, Marketing, Digital, Technology, Finance, Operations, and franchisee partners.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in pricing, revenue growth management, analytics, finance, strategy, consulting, or a related commercial role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets; SQL and Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Python, or R experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial-modeling capabilities, including comfort with pricing, elasticity, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Ability to translate complex analyses into concise, practical recommendations and clear stories for a range of audiences.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and project-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive execution work.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Experience in restaurants, retail, consumer products, foodservice, or a franchised business is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to franchisee or operator conversations and pricing platforms is a plus, but not required.
