About the role

WHO WE ARE

We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business. It’s been our mission to Serve the World Flavor since we first opened in 1994, and we’re just getting started. 1997 saw the opening of our first brand partner operated Wingstop location, and by 2002 we had served the world one billion wings. It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry.

Above all else – our success is largely due to our people and our core values, or what we call The Wingstop Way of being entrepreneurial, service-minded, fun, and authentic. We believe having a strong people foundation centered on these collective values creates a crave-worthy culture and talented team, as well as ensures our brand is poised for accelerated growth. We all win together.

WHAT WE’LL NEED

The Opportunity

Wingstop Marketing is building a more connected, disciplined way to create demand, bringing Brand, Commercial, agencies, and cross-functional teams together around one plan and a stronger path to market. The Manager, GTM & Marketing Operations plays a central role in making that happen, connecting big Marketing priorities to the actions, teams, and decisions required to bring them to life. Reporting to the Director, Marketing Strategy and Operations, this person will help Marketing move faster and with greater clarity by anticipating what teams need, surfacing risks and trade-offs early, and ensuring the work behind every

What you will do

The Manager, GTM & Marketing Operations will lead the day-to-day process that moves Marketing initiatives from intake through launch. This includes building clear workbacks, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring decisions from planning are translated into actionable next steps.

You will partner closely with the Integrated Marketing Team to connect upstream business priorities, briefs, agency planning, and channel plans to downstream GTM requirements. You will work across Brand, Commercial, Media, CRM, Digital, Operations, Training, Supply Chain, POS, MarTech, Finance, Legal, and agency partners to ensure teams have the information, timing, and ownership needed to deliver.

The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative operator with strong judgment. They can manage multiple initiatives at once, distinguish routine updates from material risks, and bring the right issues forward early enough for teams and leaders to act.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the demand generation GTM intake process for campaigns, promotions, products, partnerships, and other Marketing requests, ensuring teams have the business, timing, channel, legal, and cross-functional details needed to begin work.
  • Build and manage initiative workbacks, owners, milestones, dependencies, risks, and launch requirements based on the level of Marketing support required.
  • Lead GTM readiness from approved plan through launch, coordinating across Brand, Commercial, Media, CRM, Digital, Operations, Training, Supply Chain, POS, MarTech, Finance, Legal, and agency partners.
  • Maintain launch-readiness checklists, risk logs, decision logs, and escalation paths, surfacing issues early enough for teams and leaders to act.
  • Lead Weekly Calendar Connect and GTM Execution meetings, ensuring discussions focus on decisions, dependencies, risks, and accountability rather than status updates.
  • Maintain a current, reliable view of the Marketing and Commercial calendar, initiative status, key milestones, and launch timing.
  • Partner with the Integrated Marketing Team to translate planning decisions, briefs, and agency direction into clear downstream workbacks, activation requirements, and handoffs.
  • Coordinate IAT inputs, agency timelines, channel deliverables, and cross-functional handoffs so teams receive the information they need early enough to plan and execute effectively.
  • Maintain operational visibility to agency scopes, purchase orders, invoices, contractual commitments, and other inputs that affect launch timing or Ad Fund pacing.
  • Improve GTM tools and ways of working, including Monday.com intake, workback templates, launch one-pagers, readiness checklists, and post-launch process reviews.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 5-8 years of experience in integrated marketing, brand marketing, with experience leading complex, cross-channel campaigns, ideally 2+ years in QSR
  • Strong project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience managing creative and agency partners, from briefing and development through production and execution.
  • Strong fit in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, action-oriented culture

WHO YOU ARE

No job is too small. You recognize that the real work happens in the restaurants, and everything we do should support their success. You stay humble, roll up your sleeves, and always look for ways to help. You learn from others and contribute wherever you can.

You care deeply about doing great work and driving results. You’re curious, ask questions, and seek out opportunities to improve. You don’t just point out problems—you bring solutions, ideas, and perspectives that move the team forward.

You take full responsibility for your work and see things through to completion. You aren’t afraid to fail because you know that failure is a part of learning and growth. You take action, move fast, and keep pushing forward.

You lead with empathy, respect, and emotional intelligence. You collaborate effectively, fostering a culture of trust and constructive feedback. You understand the importance of teamwork and ensure that your actions build others up rather than break them down.
