Production Assistant- Tunnel Team

Seasonal Role: November 2026 to February 2027

At Babylonstoren we don't just grow produce, we strive for excellence from seed to harvest.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Production Assistant to join the Babylonstoren team. The successful candidate will team up with our tunnel experts to nurture our crops day by day.

Assistant Responsibilities

• Harvest fresh produce.
• Plant, nurture, basic maintenance, training, and prune growing crops.
• Spray crops with care.
• Operate a tractor across the land.
• Maintain the tunnels to the highest standard.

Assistant Requirements

• A completed National Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12).
• At least two years of practical experience.
• A true team player with a passion for high standards.
• Warm and engaging interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills, fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
• Highly structured and well organised.
• A deep love for indigenous plants and respect for nature.
