About the role

About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead product work for a newly launched document-oriented offering, defining how its results will be measured, leading trial deployments with prospective buyers and steering the offering from first traction to wider use. The position is hands-on and self-directed, coordinating with product builders, creative staff, revenue teams, support staff and analysts, and reports to the company's top executive.

What you'll do

- Set the direction and priorities for a new document understanding offering, including summaries, generated outputs, conversational AI features and task tracking.

- Establish measurement frameworks and success metrics for a product line that has none yet.

- Lead pilot programs with prospective clients and refine the product based on their feedback.

- Collaborate with peers in design, engineering, go-to-market, support and analytics to release work that serves users well.

- Balance long-term planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced growth environment.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Five to eight years of product management experience.

- Strong data literacy and comfort working with metrics.

- Experience taking products from inception through deployment at growth-stage companies.

- Experience working in North American markets.

- Hands-on experience building and shipping AI or large language model based products from scratch.

- Experience owning an entire B2B software product and its rollout, not only individual features.

- Bachelor's degree from a university in the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom.

- High degree of ownership and autonomy.

- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate across functions.

Bonus points

- Background in a compliance-heavy sector such as finance or health technology.
