About the role

About the company

Our client is a law firm.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Join as an established senior lawyer who brings a personal client portfolio into a growing practice. You will act as a public-facing leader for the firm, widen the range of services offered to your existing relationships, and help move repeatable matters toward more automated delivery.

What you'll do

- Move your own client portfolio to the firm and keep serving those clients without interruption.

- Represent the firm externally and build its reputation with prospective clients.

- Generate new opportunities through your professional network among investors and mid-sized businesses.

- Introduce additional advisory services to the clients you already work with.

- Partner with the founding team to shift repeatable matters onto automated workflows.

- Contribute to the firm's growth and to how modern legal services are delivered.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Qualified as a German lawyer (Volljurist), admitted as Rechtsanwalt.

- Partner-level experience, equity or salaried, at a well-regarded and ranked German firm or a comparable boutique.

- A personally held client portfolio worth EUR 1M or more that would follow you.

- A network among investment firms, mid-sized businesses or comparable clients that supports wider advisory work.

- A client mix with repeatable, process-friendly work across contracts, technology and data, corporate and regulatory areas, rather than only disputes.

- Real conviction that AI will reshape legal practice and a desire to automate parts of your own work.

- Fluent native German for client work and a professional level of English.

- Based in Germany.

- An exit from your current position and a client handover that can be completed in roughly six months, without restrictions that would block your clients from moving.

Bonus points

- Hands-on experience using AI tools in everyday legal work.

- A doctorate (Dr. iur.) or LL.M.
