Job Description

Are you an experienced OSHC leader who thrives on making a difference and bringing out the best in your team?

We're looking for a confident and passionate Outside School Hours Care Coordinator to lead our OSHClub service in the Success area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who brings strong leadership experience, a calm and positive approach, and a genuine passion for creating meaningful experiences for children.

If you're a hands-on leader who enjoys taking initiative, embracing challenges and building a positive team culture, we'd love to hear from you!

A little about your new service

You'll be joining our OSHClub service in Success, where you'll lead a team of Educators to create a fun, welcoming and engaging environment for primary school-aged children.

From creative arts and crafts to sports, STEM activities and imaginative play, you'll have the opportunity to bring exciting experiences to life while building meaningful relationships with children, families and the school community.

We're looking for someone who understands the importance of consistency, positive relationships and creating an environment where every child feels safe, valued and included.

You'll also have the support of your Regional Manager and wider JAG team, with access to guidance, training and resources to help you succeed in your role.

What does the role look like?

This is a permanent part-time position offering 33.5 hours per week, including 6 hours of paid non-contact administration time.

You'll work Monday to Friday across our before and after school care programs:

  • Before School Care: 7:00am – 9:00am
  • After School Care: 2:30pm – 6:00pm

Our service also operates during school holidays, with Vacation Care programs running between 7:00am and 6:00pm.

As Coordinator, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the service, lead and mentor your team of Educators, and create engaging, child-led programs that encourage children to learn, grow and have fun.

You'll also play an important role in:

  • Leading, supporting and developing a team of Educators, creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Planning engaging and inclusive activities that respond to children's individual interests and needs.
  • Modelling positive behaviour guidance strategies and supporting your team to navigate challenging situations with confidence and care.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families and the school community.
  • Overseeing rosters, administration, compliance and quality improvement to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Creating consistent routines and maintaining a safe, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Why join our team?

  • Competitive Pay: Earn up to $43 per hour + super, depending on your experience and qualifications.
  • $1,250 Loyalty Bonus: Enjoy retention bonuses throughout your first year with us.
  • Meaningful Leadership: Make a genuine difference by leading a team and creating positive experiences for children every day.
  • Work-Life Balance: Our split shifts give you the middle of the day to yourself, whether that's for family, personal commitments or downtime.
  • Supportive Leadership: Receive regular guidance, coaching and practical support from your Regional Manager, so you're never leading alone.
  • Career Growth: Access paid training, professional development and opportunities to progress within JAG.
  • Family-Friendly Benefits: Enjoy 10 weeks of paid parental leave and up to 50% off childcare fees.
  • Wellbeing & Lifestyle Perks: Save on gym memberships, health insurance and everyday shopping.
  • Referral Rewards: Earn up to $750 cash for each successful employee referral.
