Responsibilities
What you will do
- Ensures quality imaging/quality control are maintained
- Ensures department maintains ACR and FDA accreditations
- Provides leadership for off-site locations
- Supervises daily departmental operations which include but not limited to staff schedules and productivity
- Supervises clinical staff
- Performs and maintains staff evaluations and annual competencies
- Provides leadership of personnel through guidance, feedback, and delegation
- Performs primary timekeeping responsibilities
- Act as safety coach for department
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, or Cardiovascular Sonography required
Work Experience
- 4 years of technical experience required
- Experience as a modality lead strongly preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, NMTCB, or CCI upon hire required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required
