In this role, you will build reliable data pipelines, integrate multiple enterprise data sources, manage data models, and help ensure that high-quality, secure, and accessible data is available for analytics, reporting, automation, and AI-driven initiatives.
You will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Architects, Visualization Engineers, and operational stakeholders to turn raw operational data into trusted and governed data products that support business decisions, process optimization, and digital transformation.

What you will do:

•    Develop data models, data marts, warehouses, and lakehouse-ready structures for reporting, analytics, automation, AI, and machine learning.
•    Ensure data quality, governance, security, compliance, and access through automated monitoring, validation, reconciliation, and controls.
•    Create trusted, reusable, and documented datasets, while improving platform performance through partitioning, indexing, query tuning, storage optimization, and scalable design.
•    Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders and support continuous improvement through automation, modernization, migration, deployment, version control, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.

The skills you bring:

•    A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Engineering, with 2–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
•    Experience with Python, SQL, Shell/BASH, Linux/Unix, Git, and version control.
•    Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.
•    Knowledge of data modelling, normalization, dimensional modelling, and star schemas.
•    Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
•    Understanding of data warehouses, data lake, lakehouses, and cloud or hybrid data platforms.
•    Knowledge of analytics, visualization, data governance, and security.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred experience
•    Experience with GPU clusters or high-performance computing for data preparation and AI workloads.
•    Exposure to Azure Data Services, data gateways, database optimization, and reporting ecosystems.
•    Experience with enterprise reporting and visualization, especially Power BI, and agile delivery teams.
•    Understanding of operational data for utilization, capacity planning, lifecycle tracking, procurement, asset accountability, and compliance reporting.
