Role: Client Director, Pepsi

Location: Plano, TX - regular onsite presence with PepsiCo required

Experience Level: 8+ years in enterprise technology delivery or consulting with account ownership

Work Model: Client-facing and delivery-oriented, with regular onsite time at PepsiCo

Why Join Turing?

Turing works with frontier AI labs and leading enterprises to bring advanced AI into mission-critical workflows. This role gives you commercial and delivery ownership of PepsiCo, a major client relationship with room to become a flagship AI deployment account.

The account is already a steady approximately annual custom-engineering business. Your mandate is to expand it: identify the operations, supply-chain, and commercial workflows where AI can create measurable value; earn new executive sponsorship; sell the work; and ensure the embedded team delivers it.

This is a high-ownership client-leadership role for someone who can build a strategic account while remaining close to the work. You will shape the account's commercial future, direct delivery through a senior FDE or delivery lead, and turn at least one successful deployment into a reusable platform capability.

As the Client Director, Pepsi, You Will

Own the PepsiCo Business

Own the commercial health and delivery quality of the PepsiCo account. Take responsibility for SOWs, pricing, margin, account planning, and the client outcomes that determine whether the relationship grows.

Find and Sell High-Value AI Deployments

Assess the account in your first 90 days, identify two or three quantified AI deployment opportunities, and broaden executive relationships beyond the current buyer. Convert the strongest opportunity into an AI deployment SOW within your first two quarters.

Lead the Embedded Delivery Team

Set a clear operating rhythm with a written scope baseline, weekly issue log, and direct accountability for the client business. Lead through a senior FDE lead or delivery lead while staying close enough to resolve tradeoffs, remove blockers, and protect delivery quality.

Expand the Account Across Buying Centers

Build trusted relationships across PepsiCo's operations, supply chain, and commercial organizations. Create the case for AI workflow deployment and grow the account beyond a custom-engineering engagement.

Turn Client Work into Platform Value

Ensure at least one deployment produces a reusable component for Turing's platform. Balance the needs of a specific client with the discipline required to build repeatable enterprise capabilities.

The Anti-Sell

Commercial ownership: This is not a delivery or project-management role. You must create and close follow-on work, own pricing and margin, and be accountable for growing the business.

A visible pivot: The existing account is established, but the job is to shift its mix from customer engineering to AI workflow deployment. You will need to make the case for that change with new and existing client sponsors.

Single-threaded accountability: You will lead through senior delivery partners, but the client business is yours. When scope, quality, or commercial momentum is at risk, you are expected to bring the plan and drive the recovery.

Client-facing intensity: Success requires regular onsite work with PepsiCo, comfort with executive stakeholders, and the ability to stay credible in consumer-goods and supply-chain operating conversations.

Our Client Directors Typically Have

Enterprise account ownership: Typically 8+ years in enterprise technology delivery or consulting, with direct responsibility for a named client relationship.

Commercial expansion experience: A record of inheriting or leading an account, opening new buying centers, selling follow-on work, and translating client needs into commercially viable scopes.

AI and data deployment fluency: Recent experience with AI, data, analytics, or platform deployments and the judgment to identify practical enterprise use cases.

Delivery leadership: The ability to direct an embedded team, maintain clear ownership, and protect quality while managing client expectations and economics.

Consumer operations credibility: Enough familiarity with CPG, supply chain, or commercial operations to earn trust and frame AI opportunities around measurable business value.

Top-Tier Candidates Will Have

  • Experience with PepsiCo or a peer CPG enterprise.
  • Experience in data platforms, analytics, or AI deployment.
  • A background leading consumer accounts at an analytics firm, systems integrator, consulting firm, or forward-deployed technology organization.
