DLO Night Shift MLS/MLT I

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO)

Location: Owasso, OK

Hours: Wednesday-Saturday

Essential Functions: 

• Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift
• Perform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities
• Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday
• Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment 

• Perform tests in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coag, serology, blood bank and limited microbiology. 
• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Follow employee policies, work with fellow employees in a professional productive manner
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.

Required Knowledge:

• General laboratory knowledge, including the use of computers; knowledge of QA and QC as well as knowledge of all areas of the laboratory.

Required Experience:

• A.A.S, Medical laboratory technology; BS Medical technology

Special Requirements: 

• Ability to maintain a professional courteous and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress. 
• Teamwork with fellow employees is a must. 
• Keyboard skills are important as is multitasking. 
• May be required to work overtime or other shifts or days as needed. 
• Weekend rotation and holiday coverage required.
