About the Role
Join the founding team of an AI company bringing agent-based software into manufacturing and other operational environments. You will lead customer discovery, shape deployment plans, and connect customer needs with the engineering team to help pilots reach production.
What You'll Do
Lead discovery with manufacturing customers, identify operational pain points, and scope use cases.
Build and present business cases and ROI models to support new pilots and account expansion.
Create software demos and prototypes using AI tools and the company's platform.
Coordinate deployments across customer IT, procurement, and supply chain teams alongside forward-deployed engineers.
Support existing customers by scoping additional workflows and measuring expansion opportunities.
What We're Looking For
One to three years of experience in strategy consulting, business operations, or deployment roles at enterprise AI or software companies.
Experience in strategy consulting with exposure to manufacturing, industrials, supply chain, or procurement.
Hands-on experience supporting operators, field adoption, go-lives, and pilots that progress toward production.
Strong customer-facing communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders at large organizations.
Experience building ROI models and business cases, and using tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar LLM-assisted development tools to create demos.
A bachelor's degree and a track record of rapid growth in consulting, deployment, or related work.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $160,000 to $230,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week, with 15% to 30% international travel.
