Senior UX Copywriter (Arabic & English)

Description

GSS Tech Group is hiring a Senior UX Copywriter for one of the UAE’s leading banks. You’ll join the Design team within the bank’s Digital Office, whose goal is to build the most human centric banking experience in the world.

In this role, you’ll write clear, user centric content across websites, mobile apps and other digital platforms. You’ll connect design and communication so that every word on screen works with the visuals to create an intuitive, engaging customer journey.

What you will do

• Write clear, concise and user friendly copy for web, app and other digital touchpoints in both English and Arabic.
• Work closely with designers so the written and visual elements line up.
• Define and apply a consistent tone of voice across all digital channels.
• Estimate effort from requirements and propose delivery plans against deadlines.
• Audit existing copy and recommend improvements within agreed timelines.
• Use user feedback and data analytics to keep improving the copy.
• Work within Agile design delivery teams, following the UX process.
• Explain and defend UX copy decisions to designers and stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor team members to help scale the UX copy framework.

Requirements

• Native Arabic speaker who can read and write fluently in the GCC or UAE national dialect. This is mandatory.
• Excellent written UK English.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Communication, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in UX copywriting, content design or a closely related field.
• Experience in corporate, finance or retail products.
• Solid grasp of human centred design, UX principles and instructional writing.
• Working knowledge of content management systems, SEO principles and basic HTML.
• A strong portfolio showing UX copy projects and their measurable impact on user experience.
• Ability to adapt your writing style for different audiences and industries.
• Comfortable managing several workstreams at once in a fast paced, deadline driven setting.
• Open to constructive feedback and able to handle ambiguity well.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or financial services
• Experience working in the GCC
