About the role

You will work with stakeholders to address project issues and drive successful outcomes. Strong experience in project management and leadership skills are required.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Power BI Solution Leadership: Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Power BI solutions, including semantic models, dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Business & Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define KPIs, and translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions. 
  • Architecture & Solution Design: Provide architecture, design, and configuration support for Power BI solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to best practices.
  • Client Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement: Work directly with clients to provide consulting, technical guidance, solution recommendations, and ongoing support for analytics initiatives. 
  • Analytics Governance & Standards: Establish reporting standards, governance processes, KPI definitions, data quality controls, and best practices to ensure consistency and trust in analytics outputs.
  • Mentorship: Lead and mentor Power BI developers and analytics professionals, fostering technical excellence and continuous innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale Power BI solutions.
  • Technical Skills: 
    • Strong expertise in Power BI capabilities, including: Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query (M), Advanced Data Modeling, Row-Level Security (RLS), Performance Optimization, Dashboard Design and Data Storytelling
    • Experience designing and managing reusable semantic models and governed reporting assets.
    • Strong understanding of KPI definition, metric standardization, and business-rule implementation.
    • Understanding of medallion architecture, ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
    • Strong SQL skills with experience working across large and complex datasets.
    • Experience implementing report lifecycle management, deployment pipelines, version control, and release management.
    • Understanding of data security, data privacy, access management, and governance frameworks.
    • Familiarity with integrating Power BI with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or enterprise AI platforms (Preferred).
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading analytics teams, mentoring developers, and managing the successful delivery of complex reporting and analytics programs.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to transform data challenges into actionable insights and present recommendations to business and technical audiences.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders to deliver analytics and reporting solutions.
