About Brightai

BrightAI is a physical AI company for the world's essential services. Water, power, oil and gas and industrial operators run aging assets with stretched crews and periodic inspections that miss problems as they develop. BrightAI helps them see the condition of their assets, understand what it means and act before problems reach the people who depend on them. Stateful devices and existing telemetry capture what's happening in the field. Foundation models predict failures and guide people, control systems and robots, and field outcomes help improve the models. The Stateful platform operates across 50,000+ operational locations. The aim is reliable, safe infrastructure and safer crews.

The Role

BrightAI's work happens at pipelines, substations and treatment plants, but most buyers first meet it through a deck, a web page or a diagram. As Senior Brand Designer, you'll own and evolve the visual brand and make it work everywhere it shows up: presentations, collateral, the website, digital campaigns and events. Much of the job is making physical AI understandable, showing how field devices, data and models connect to real outcomes for complex enterprise buyers. You'll partner closely with product marketing and growth, and you'll build the templates that let a small team move quickly.

This role is AI-native by design. Our ambition is for AI to expand what one senior designer can produce, up to 10x the output of a traditional workflow, while the quality bar stays where it is. You remain the art director, personally accountable for concept, typography, hierarchy, distinctiveness, product truth and final quality.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve BrightAI's visual system, including typography, color, layout, iconography and brand standards.
  • Design sales decks, presentations, one-pagers and other collateral that hold up in both technical and executive conversations.
  • Design accessible, responsive website and landing pages, and QA them through implementation.
  • Create ads, social and digital assets with growth, including variants for testing.
  • Build diagrams and explanatory visuals that show how BrightAI observes, predicts and acts in the field.
  • Design customer-proof visuals and event materials.
  • Maintain a template and asset library so teammates can produce on-brand work quickly, and check exported files before they ship.
  • Use AI tools hands-on for concept exploration, image generation and editing, campaign variants, collateral, digital and web work, and motion assets.
  • Build reusable, brand-aware AI workflows and templates that speed up adaptation and production, and review output for brand fit, product accuracy and usage rights before it ships.

Skills And Expertise

  • Senior brand design or art direction experience, with hands-on expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent tools.
  • Strong typography, composition, hierarchy and layout, with range across brand, presentation and digital work.
  • Daily, hands-on use of AI creative tools, with evidence that your workflow changed your speed or volume.
  • The judgment to accept, rework or discard AI output. Prompting alone isn't the job.
  • Design decisions grounded in audience and use, and the ability to explain them.
  • Skill turning technical ideas into clear visuals, working from source material with product marketing and subject matter experts.
  • Experience building reusable systems and templates for people outside design.

Bonus Points

  • Webflow or Framer implementation experience.
  • Motion design or simple video editing.
  • Work for industrial, energy or other technical B2B brands.

Work To Share

Please share a portfolio covering brand, deck or collateral, and digital work, with your personal contribution to each project made clear. For at least two projects, walk us from brief to art direction to workflow to final outputs. Show which decisions were yours, what you rejected or reworked, and any before-and-after context on turnaround or capacity.
