We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Gift Shop Associate to join our Foundation department. The Gift Shop Associate assists with all services at de Snoep Winkel Gift Shop. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health Care Center.
Competencies:
- Consistently performs all tasks outlined on work flow sheets in a timely and high quality manner.
- Loads beverage and coffee machines as required.
- Operates the cash register and performs reconciliation's daily.
- Maintains clean and orderly working area according to work flow responsibilities.
- Stacks or re-stock food and candy supplies.
- Disposes of trash and garbage from area, and cleans various equipment.
- Maintains cleanliness of all equipment, working areas, walls, and floors in gift shop in compliance with sanitary codes.
- May clean refrigerators, freezers and other permanent equipment as required.
- Empties garbage cans and cleans them daily.
- Ensures that the supplies necessary to perform job duties are on hand and/or retrieves them from the storeroom as needed.
- Assists with service at de Snoep Winkel Gift Shop.
Schedule:
- 9am - 5:15pm, Thursday and Friday.
- Work the first and third Saturday of each month, 10am-4:15 pm (at least 2 Saturdays a month).
Must be able to work extra days 3x’s a year for Gift Shop events.
Education: High School Diploma required.
Previous Experience: None required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrates compliance with the CHCC ASPIRE Standards of Performance.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a cashier strongly desired.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
- Communicates with facility staff, sponsors, departmental personnel and de Snoep Winkel volunteers.
Must be willing to learn the Gift Shop’s method of merchandizing.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
