Quality Intern

This role ensures products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements while driving continuous improvement and mentoring junior team members

• Perform and lead incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Utilize precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparator)
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supplier Quality teams
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
• Support production team in day-to-day activities.
• Validate when defective material is reported by production team.

• Associate degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field (bachelor’s preferred)
• Minimum 1+ years of quality control or inspection experience
• Experience with precision measuring equipment
• Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle)
• Manufacturing floor and inspection lab settings.
• Prolonged standing and use of inspection tools.
• Occasional lifting.
