THE OPPORTUNITY
Silvus is seeking a Data Engineer who will report to the Director of Operations on the Business Intelligence team.
The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the organization's modern data warehouse and scalable data pipelines that support business intelligence and analytics. This role ensures data architecture is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability by evolving data models, monitoring pipeline health, and implementing infrastructure that supports long-term business growth.
This position is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles, CA.

- Scalability & Performance: Proactively manage the evolution of data schemas. As features are added to the backend/CRM, the warehouse architecture will be extended to accommodate new data points while maintaining historical integrity and system performance.
- Infrastructure Selection: Evaluate and implement the right tools for our modern data stack (e.g., selecting the right compute tiers or storage solutions) to ensure the warehouse can grow 10x without a complete rebuild.
- Pipeline Modeling: Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to move data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Pipeline Monitoring: Monitor pipeline health and data integrity, alerting the team to discrepancies before they reach the reporting layer.
- Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.
