About the role

Job Description:

The Lead Business Intelligence Analyst will directly impact sales effectiveness by building the data infrastructure that delivers timely, accurate, and actionable insights to sales leaders and teams. Through scalable data pipelines, robust data models, and automated transformation workflows, the role will ensure opportunity, pipeline, forecast, and performance data is reliable and available across the sales lifecycle, helping teams prioritize activities, improve pipeline health, strengthen forecast accuracy, and track performance against revenue targets. In close partnership with Revenue Operations and its extended teams, the analyst will integrate CRM and other source data into a governed analytics layer, implement data quality checks and monitoring, and automate manual reporting processes. The result is a trusted, performant data platform that enables data-driven decision-making, improves sales execution, and helps the TR Sales Organization maximize productivity and achieve its revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, automated data pipelines that power Revenue Operations and the broader TR Sales Organization, from ingestion through analytics-ready delivery.
  • Use dbt, Alteryx, and SQL to integrate, transform, standardize, and model data from multiple enterprise sources into reliable, well-documented datasets.
  • Develop reusable data models and transformation workflows with built-in data quality checks, validation, testing, and monitoring to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data freshness.
  • Integrate data from Snowflake, Oracle, and Salesforce, optimizing pipelines and warehouse workloads for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Sales Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data solutions and governed data assets.
  • Consolidate fragmented data environments, automate manual processes, and establish standardized, version-controlled data assets that support pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance analytics.
  • Deliver and support reporting and analytics on top of trusted datasets, building dashboards and self-service reports in Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce CRM Analytics that give sales leaders timely, actionable insights.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data processes, adopt emerging technologies, and deliver measurable business value through faster, more reliable data and reporting.
  • Work Mode: Hybrid - 2-3 days from office every week.
  • Shift Timing: 2 pm IST to 11 pm IST

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics reporting, or business intelligence.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in dbt, Alteryx, and advanced SQL for data transformation, pipeline development, and automation.
  • Proven experience in data integration, ETL/ELT workflows, data modeling, and data quality management.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, Salesforce, or similar enterprise data platforms.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce CRM Analytics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to understand sales operations and translate business needs into scalable, reliable data solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or commercial analytics environments.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM data and sales performance reporting.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality monitoring, and automated validation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake optimization and enterprise-scale data modeling.
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce CRM Analytics.
