About the role

Quantitative Volatility Trading, Goldman Sachs' electronic market making team, is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to help grow its option trading business in Hong Kong.

In this role you will work closely with trading, research and engineering to deliver data in the right shape and manner to accelerate our business. You will design and build flexible, scalable solutions for data onboarding and research workflows that permit team members to easily build and extend existing data pipelines. Your work will span the entire data lifecycle from onboarding all the way to signal deployment. If you have a passion for technology, data and trading then this could be the role for you.

Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years experience as a data engineer or similar role
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL along with modern data tools
A track record of strong systems thinking and ability to design systems at scale
Collaborative and effective at driving change as part of a team
