Junior PMO Analyst Academy | Kickstart Your Project Management Career
About the role
Are you the one who keeps everything on track?
You're the person who spots what's about to slip before anyone else does. You turn a messy inbox into a clear update, and you've probably got a spreadsheet for the group holiday.
That's the foundation of a career in project and service delivery, and we'll train you in it at no cost to you.
About _nology
_nology is a tech talent consultancy with our own Academy. We find people with potential, train them in the skills our clients need most, and place them as tech consultants on major programmes across the UK and Australia. We hire for potential, attitude and willingness to learn, not just for a CV.
The Academy: four weeks, fully funded
Our PMO & Service Delivery Academy is a 4-week programme run by people who work in project, service and operational delivery. There are no fees and no repayment clauses.
You'll learn:
- PMO and project support fundamentals
- RAID management, governance, reporting and project controls
- Service delivery management principles
- Resource and workforce planning
- Financial awareness and forecasting
- Stakeholder engagement and client communication
- Excel, Microsoft Power Platform and reporting tools
- How large delivery teams actually work
You'll also build the professional skills that matter in client-facing roles: presenting clearly, managing competing priorities and working within structured governance.
After the Academy
Graduates join our consultant talent pool, and our team works with you to secure a client role that suits your strengths. Typical roles include:
- PMO Analyst
- Project Support Officer
- Programme Support
- Service Delivery Analyst or Coordinator
- Engagement Coordinator
- Resource Management or Workforce Planning Analyst
We can't guarantee a placement, but our aim is to get every graduate into a role. Once you're placed, you'll have ongoing coaching, a mentor and structured check-ins with our delivery team.
Requirements
You don't need PMO experience.
We're looking for people who are:
- Organised and dependable, with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working with information, data and processes
- Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Clear communicators, both written and verbal
- Curious about technology and how business change happens
- Happy to ask questions, take feedback and keep improving
- Motivated to build a long-term career in delivery
This could be you if you're: a career changer, someone returning after a career break, a recent graduate, a bootcamp or apprenticeship graduate, or someone with up to 12 months' experience in project support, operations, administration or a related area.
Practical requirements:
- Location: you live within an hour's commute of Newcastle upon Tyne, or are willing to relocate. We provide a relocation budget. Roles are hybrid.
- Right to work: you're eligible to work in the UK.
- Security Clearance (SC): many of our client roles require SC. To be eligible you'll usually need to have lived in the UK for the last five years. If you're not sure whether you qualify, ask us before you apply.
