Sales Development Representative (India)
About the role
At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.
Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission. We've also been named to the Fortune Future 50 list and the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for “Overall NLP Company of the Year.”
Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.
The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven, highly communicative, and data-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in India, supporting our US Sales team and US customer base.
As an Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for building and running the outbound systems that identify potential customers, research relevant decision-makers, reach out through cold email and LinkedIn, and help build a qualified sales pipeline. This is a digital-only role with no cold calling.
This is a high-impact, target-driven role where your ability to build automated workflows, work with data, research prospects, write compelling outreach, learn quickly, and continuously improve what works will directly contribute to our sales growth.
What You'll Do
Research and map target accounts: Build a deep understanding of target organizations, including their structure, leadership, technology footprint, financial state, and current initiatives. Map the buying committee at each account and identify the right people to approach, in what order, and how to handle their likely objections.
Build prospecting systems: Create automated workflows using Clay, APIs, and AI to identify, enrich, verify, and prioritize ideal-fit accounts and decision-makers across a large named-account portfolio.
Prioritize with data: Score and tier accounts by fit and buying signals, so high-priority accounts get deep personalization and the rest get an efficient, still-relevant approach.
Build a messaging system: Create a persona library and reusable templates that stay specific to each account and person, rather than reading like a mail merge.
Run and optimize email campaigns: Plan and execute cold email campaigns end to end, from list segmentation and sequence design to copywriting, A/B testing, and send scheduling. Monitor open, reply, and bounce rates, and continuously refine targeting and messaging to increase qualified replies and meetings booked.
Run LinkedIn outreach: Engage prospects on LinkedIn alongside email through connection requests, messages, and genuine engagement with their content, using AI-assisted personalization that still reads like a human wrote it.
Manage email deliverability: Set up and maintain cold email sending infrastructure, including secondary domains, mailboxes, warm-up, and authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), working with IT and compliance on approvals. Monitor bounce rates, inbox placement, and sender reputation to keep deliverability strong as volume grows.
Monitor buying signals: Set up automated tracking of triggers such as leadership changes, job postings, vendor announcements, and financial results, and use them to adjust account priority and messaging.
Automate the manual work: Build internal tools and automations, such as reply classifiers, alerts, and research workflows, using tools like Claude Code, OpenAI API, n8n/Zapier, and Slack.
Qualify and hand off: Handle replies quickly during US business hours, qualify interest, and book meetings for US Account Executives with a clear account brief and accurate Salesforce records.
Measure and improve: Track the funnel from first touch to qualified opportunity. Run experiments on targeting, messaging, and timing, and scale what works.
Work across teams: Coordinate with marketing, AEs, and leadership on support beyond email and LinkedIn, such as ABM ads, events, and executive outreach. Share what you learn from the market with sales, marketing, and product.
What You Have
1–3 years of hands-on experience in outbound, growth, or GTM roles with a track record of booking meetings with B2B decision-makers (US market preferred)
Proven experience running cold email and LinkedIn campaigns, including sequence design, A/B testing, sending infrastructure and deliverability, and staying within LinkedIn’s usage limits
Practical experience with Clay and at least one sales engagement tool (Outreach, Smartlead, Instantly, Apollo, or similar)
A builder’s mindset: you’ve shipped working automations or internal tools using AI coding tools, APIs, webhooks, or no-code platforms, and you know how to check AI output for accuracy before it reaches a prospect. You don’t need to be a software engineer, but you need to be comfortable building.
Strong research skills: you can turn public information into a sharp, accurate account brief and a reason to reach out now
Strong written English. You can write outreach that senior executives actually read, and clear prompts for AI tools.
Strong business writing and presentation skills: you can turn research and analysis into clear documents and slide decks that stand on their own
Comfort with data: cleaning, segmenting, and reasoning about thousands of records, and doing the funnel and capacity math to plan your work
Ownership of results, comfort with targets, and the ability to work US business hours
