We're a privately owned, clinician-led ABA organization with 21 years of experience. Our BCBAs have an average tenure of 7 years, and our commitment to clinical excellence shapes how we support our team and the children and families we serve.
What Makes FirstSteps Different?
Clinical work comes first. Our Program Directors typically support 12–14 children and lead teams of 7–12 RBTs, creating opportunities for individualized clinical decisions, meaningful supervision, and hands-on team development.
Learn from clinical leaders connected to research. Our Chief Clinical Officer Courtney Tarbox's connection to the research community, including our Director of Research Dr. Tarbox at USC, reflects our commitment to research-informed practice and continued clinical learning.
Keep building your expertise. We invest in company-sponsored BACB CEUs, CASP membership, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for paid conference attendance. Your development matters beyond the requirements of certification.
Practice with autonomy and clear expectations. Full-time BCBAs have a monthly expectation of 115 billable hours, with additional clinical performance incentives available.
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000–$95,000 annual salary, depending on experience
- Up to $6,000 in clinical performance incentives
