Event Marketing Coordinator
About the role
About Oden:
Manufacturing is undergoing its fourth industrial revolution, with factory operations increasingly driven by real-time applications that combine process and context data with advanced ML and AI algorithms. This is unlocking a staggering opportunity to improve the efficiency and productivity of existing manufacturing processes.
As a Manufacturing AI company, Oden is at the forefront of this revolution. We combine large-scale data processing architectures and advanced AI and ML algorithms within the Oden platform so manufacturing operations teams can continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize their production, across a diverse set of processes and conditions. Our goal is to maximize efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness in the manufacturing domain - to help True Makers Make Things Better!
Culture
We obsess over customers. Everything we do is to create profound results and delight for our customers. Every Viking cares about the purpose of the product and company, and prioritizes work based on customer end results. When in doubt, we go to the Gemba – we’re happy to put on steel toe boots and hit the factory floor to work with the production manager.
We move fast and follow through – we live by transparent and scientific thinking, act with urgency, and put in the work to find the best ideas with those around us.
We elevate each other by giving and receiving direct, honest feedback and holding ourselves and others to a high standard to help the team rise, deliver, and win together.
“Be True Makers to Serve True Makers.” We’re building a community that fuels innovation and accelerates our pace and impact. We always ask if there’s a better way to do something, even if it's unconventional – then we try it. We aim for bold yet simple solutions that cut through complexity and drive meaningful progress.
Role Summary
We’re hiring a Marketing Coordinator to run our events and the campaigns behind them. You’ll report to Peter, our co-founder, and work closely with the sales team.
You’ll own 5-6 events a year, mostly industry tradeshows plus customer and partner engagements and occasional webinars. You’ll also build the campaigns that drive attendance and follow up afterward: emails, landing pages, lists, and nurture flows in HubSpot.
This role is for a hands-on generalist. You’ve planned events yourself, and you’ve built campaigns in a marketing automation platform yourself. If you’ve only done one of these, this probably isn’t the right fit.
Responsibilities
Events
Own planning, budgets, venues, vendors, and logistics for 5-6 events per year
Manage registration, attendee communication, and shipping of booth materials and promotional items
Work on-site at events alongside the sales team
Manage vendor relationships, invoices, and payments
Set up and run webinars in Zoom or a similar platform
Campaigns and Marketing Systems
Build event campaigns in HubSpot, including invitations, landing pages, registration forms, and reminders
Create and maintain segmented lists and nurture workflows
Run post-event follow-up and track leads through to sales
Report on event spend, lead capture, and campaign results
Support website and content updates tied to events and campaigns
What Success Looks Like
Within your first few months, you’ve run a tradeshow from booking through post-event follow-up
You’ve built a reusable HubSpot event campaign (invite, registration, reminders, follow-up) that the team runs for every event
Sales can see which events produced leads and what each one cost
Qualifications
2-4 years in a marketing coordinator, marketing generalist, or similar role
Hands-on experience building campaigns in HubSpot or another marketing automation platform (Marketo, Pardot, Klaviyo, or similar). You’ve personally built emails, lists, and workflows, not just used reports or completed a certification. HubSpot experience is preferred.
Experience owning events from planning through on-site execution and follow-up, including budgets, vendors, and venues
Strong attention to detail and time management when event deadlines stack up
Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams and outside vendors
Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid setting
Flexibility to work outside standard hours and travel for events (about 5-6 trips per year)
B2B or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
Location: New York or Atlanta strongly preferred.
Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 base, depending on experience.
