Infrastructure Governance & Visibility
Lead the Infrastructure inventory governance framework, including ownership standards, governance processes, data-quality requirements, reconciliation activities, exception management, and executive reporting.
Partner with service owners to maintain complete, accurate, and current records across data centers, servers and compute platforms, storage, networks, cloud infrastructure, infrastructure applications, software licenses, and subscriptions.
Establish governance mechanisms that improve ownership clarity, data integrity, lifecycle visibility, and risk identification.
Facilitate governance reviews and reporting that provide leadership with actionable insights and decision support.
Monitor governance metrics and highlight data-quality, lifecycle, ownership, and compliance trends requiring leadership attention.
Lifecycle Governance
Provide visibility into asset age, technology currency, support status, end-of-life exposure, refresh requirements, dependencies, and associated risks.
Monitor lifecycle trends and governance metrics while service owners retain responsibility for operational lifecycle planning and execution.
Highlight material lifecycle risks through established governance and escalation forums.
Support leadership decision-making with lifecycle reporting, risk insights, and readiness assessments.
Software Asset & Subscription Governance
Partner with Enterprise ITAM/SAM teams to implement applicable governance standards, controls, and reporting requirements within Infrastructure.
Provide governance visibility and readiness reporting related to entitlement, ownership, compliance evidence, and renewal-planning activities.
Support alignment between Infrastructure requirements and enterprise asset-management standards.
Contribute feedback and recommendations that may improve governance processes and data quality across the enterprise.
Contract & Renewal Readiness
Maintain governance visibility into infrastructure contract obligations, ownership assignments, key milestones, notice periods, and renewal timelines.
Coordinate readiness reviews and governance reporting so accountable stakeholders have sufficient lead time for decision-making.
Identify potential renewal, ownership, or readiness risks and elevate them through established governance channels.
Provide governance visibility and readiness tracking without owning sourcing decisions, commercial negotiations, supplier management, contract administration, or legal interpretation.
TSA & Transition Governance
Provide governance visibility and readiness oversight for transition-related dependencies, asset transfers, handoff documentation, acceptance criteria, and governance milestones.
Track ownership assignments, readiness indicators, supporting evidence, and transition handoff requirements.
Highlight ownership gaps, unresolved decisions, incomplete documentation, and readiness concerns through established governance forums.
Transition and program teams retain responsibility for migration execution, cutovers, delivery management, and overall program outcomes.
Reporting & Executive Decision Support
Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, governance scorecards, risk indicators, and readiness reporting.
Deliver governance insights that help leadership prioritize actions, manage risk, and improve operational readiness.
Support executive reviews through clear reporting, trend analysis, and recommendations based on governance observations and data.
What Success Looks Like
Infrastructure leadership has a trusted and transparent view of infrastructure assets, ownership, lifecycle status, and associated risks.
Governance processes provide reliable visibility into inventory quality, ownership accountability, lifecycle exposure, contract milestones, and transition readiness.
Service owners consistently maintain high-quality inventory, ownership, and lifecycle information.
Contract obligations and renewal milestones are visible early enough to support informed planning and decision-making.
Infrastructure risks, ownership gaps, and readiness concerns are identified early and managed through established governance processes.
Transition dependencies, asset transfers, and handoff activities are supported through clear ownership and documented evidence.
