What You'll Do as an Outside Sales Representative

• Prospect for new commercial roofing opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and visits to local businesses.
• Build lasting relationships with building owners, property managers, facility managers, and other decision-makers to understand their roofing needs.
• Meet with prospective customers at their properties to discuss roofing concerns, gather project details, and coordinate roof assessments.
• Collaborate with estimating and production teams to develop proposals for commercial roof repairs, replacements, preventative maintenance, and new construction projects.
• Present roofing solutions and proposals, answer customer questions, and communicate the value of our services to win new business.
• Follow up on leads and proposals, guide customers through the sales process, and close deals while maintaining accurate records in our CRM.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure a smooth transition from signed contracts to completed roofing projects.
• Grow your customer base by maintaining relationships, generating repeat business and referrals, and working toward your sales goals.

Our Ideal Outside Sales Representative

• Experienced Sales Professional: At least 3 years of outside sales experience with a proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close deals; construction industry experience is a plus.
• Driven Hunter: Enjoy identifying new business opportunities, making cold calls, meeting potential customers, and pursuing leads with determination and persistence.
• Relationship Builder: Connect naturally with people, earn their trust, and develop lasting relationships with commercial property owners and decision-makers.
