About the Opportunity

At MezTal, we are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Specialist to join the Asset Management team of one of our U.S.-based clients in the Real Estate Investment industry, with a focus on senior living and healthcare properties.

This is a hands-on, operational role focused on collecting, cleaning, organizing, and validating large amounts of data to ensure accuracy and consistency across company systems.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, has strong Excel skills, and is experienced with Oracle Smart View. This position is not focused on complex data analysis or programming, but rather on maintaining accurate and reliable information.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, organize, and process data from multiple sources into the company's database.
• Use Oracle Smart View and Microsoft Excel to manage and update information.
• Review and validate data to identify errors, inconsistencies, duplicates, or missing information.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency before and after importing information into company systems.
• Support data integrity and standardization processes.
• Work with large datasets and maintain organized, accurate records.
• Perform quality checks on imported data and resolve discrepancies.
• Complete recurring data management tasks while meeting established deadlines.
• Support additional data processing, reporting, and administrative projects as needed.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Smart View (required).

• Professional English proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required), including formulas, Pivot Tables, and data validation tools.
• Previous experience in data management, data processing, data quality, or similar operational roles.
• Experience working with large datasets and information from multiple sources.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to identify and correct data errors and inconsistencies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks, meet recurring deadlines, and work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a U.S.-based team.
• Availability to work in a hybrid manner at our offices in Guadalajara, Mexico at Midtown Jalisco.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle EPM, Hyperion, or other Oracle database solutions.
• Previous experience supporting financial, real estate, or asset management teams.
• Familiarity with data standardization, database maintenance, and quality assurance processes.
