About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager Privacy based in Switzerland.

Take ownership of privacy and consent management across a suite of digital advertising products spanning web, mobile apps, and connected TV (CTV). In this strategic product role, you will lead the Privacy squad and report directly to the VP of Product, shaping how consent signals are collected, interpreted, and transmitted across multiple advertising channels. Your mission is to maximize publisher revenue while ensuring compliance with applicable privacy regulations and industry standards. You will translate complex legal frameworks into practical product specifications, balancing regulatory obligations with commercial opportunities. Working closely with engineering, analytics, UX, engagement teams, and privacy experts, you will drive measurable improvements in consent management and monetization. Join a fast-growing, international, AI-driven environment where analytical thinking, ownership, and pragmatic decision-making are central to success.

Accountabilities:

As Product Manager Privacy, you will own the consent management strategy, lead the Privacy squad, and ensure that privacy requirements are consistently implemented across products and channels. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Consent Engine and Frameworks: Own the FastCMP consent signal engine roadmap, covering IAB TCF, GPP, Global Privacy Control (GPC), Google Consent Mode, and US privacy signals. Define the applicable frameworks and default behaviors for each jurisdiction, and deliver new standard versions on time across web, mobile, and CTV.

  • Cross-Product Privacy Rules: Translate legislation and industry standards into clear product specifications for Actirise, Viously, and Meetscale across web, app, and CTV. Maintain a compliance checklist for consent-related initiatives and coordinate with product managers to ensure signals are correctly collected, respected, and transmitted.

  • Privacy-Compliant Monetization: Identify opportunities to monetize traffic within applicable privacy rules. Distinguish mandatory requirements from recommendations, assess revenue implications before making decisions, and evaluate options for traffic with no or partial consent, including legitimate interest, contextual advertising, and no-ad requirements.

  • Measurement and Decision-Making: Apply a measure-before-deciding approach, ensuring traffic is not rejected or degraded without supporting measurements and a documented decision.

  • Compliance, Vendors, and Certifications: Own IAB TCF and Google CMP certifications, manage vendor lists and custom vendors, and mitigate the risk of deregistration. Work with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) to validate privacy interpretations while retaining product ownership of decisions.

  • Client and Partner Engagement: Serve as the product point of contact for strategic clients and partners on privacy matters, including CMP migrations, regulatory requests, and buyer requirements.

  • Regulatory and Standards Monitoring: Track upcoming legislation and industry standards, anticipate their product implications, and translate them into roadmap priorities before they become urgent.

  • AI-Ready Product Management: Apply an agentic-first approach by ensuring privacy rules and configurations can be executed by AI agents, supported by clean data contracts and appropriate access controls.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engagement, UX Orchestration, Analytics, FastCMP engineering, and the DPO to coordinate consent templates, A/B testing, CMP and paywall configurations, and privacy signal measurement.

  • Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines substantial privacy expertise with hands-on product management experience in advertising technology. You understand how to interpret legal requirements without unnecessarily restricting legitimate business opportunities, and you can translate complex rules into actionable technical specifications. The following qualifications are expected:

    • Privacy and Product Experience: At least 5 years of experience in privacy, consent management platforms (CMPs), or ad tech, including product management experience and a proven track record of shipping products in this ecosystem.

    • Industry Standards and Regulations: Strong knowledge of IAB TCF, Global Privacy Platform (GPP), OpenRTB consent fields, GDPR, ePrivacy, and US privacy legislation, including CCPA and applicable state laws.

    • Commercial and Analytical Judgment: Ability to distinguish legal obligations from recommendations and support product decisions with data, evidence, and measurable revenue impact.

    • Technical Specification Skills: Ability to write precise, implementation-ready specifications that engineers can execute with minimal clarification. Programming experience is not required.

    • Data-Driven Approach: Familiarity with basic SQL, dashboards, analytics, and A/B testing, with a commitment to measuring outcomes before making decisions.

    • AI and Agentic Workflows: Daily use of an AI assistant, such as Claude, and practical experience building AI-enabled skills or agentic workflows within product management.

    • Communication Skills: Fluent in both English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively with legal specialists, engineers, product teams, clients, and business stakeholders.

    • Problem-Solving Mindset: Pragmatic, analytical, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment. You understand the Pareto principle and know how to prioritize high-impact improvements.

    • Collaboration and Ownership: Strong listening skills, a willingness to challenge existing practices constructively, and a commitment to continuous improvement and shared team goals.

    • Benefits:

      • Fully Remote Work: Work remotely within a flexible environment, with access to offices in Paris, Lille, or London.

      • International Work Environment: Collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries, with English as the working language.

      • AI Tools: Access to Claude for everyday work and AI-enabled workflows.

      • Collaborative Culture: Join a close-knit, supportive team that values innovation, knowledge-sharing, and collective success.

      • Social Events: Participate in regular team gatherings and company events.

      • Career Development: Benefit from training programs, HR career check-ins, internal mobility opportunities, and regular performance feedback.

      • Health Coverage: Access to a comprehensive health insurance plan.

      • Growth Opportunities: Contribute to a rapidly expanding digital advertising technology environment and help shape the future of privacy-aware monetization.

      • Inclusive Workplace: Work in an environment committed to diversity, equal opportunities, and inclusion.

      • Employment Type: Full-time.

      • Recruitment Process: The process includes a screening call with Talent Acquisition, an interview with the VP of Product, a case study with the VP of Product and DPO, and reference checks. Interviews are primarily conducted by video conference, although some stages may require an in-person meeting.
