Welder/Fabricator

Key Responsibilities

· Carry out welding and fabrication work to required specifications

· Read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately

· Operate and assist on processing equipment including plasma, saws, and drilling lines

· Support material handling and movement across the processing area

· Carry out quality checks on finished components

· Assist with general production activities as required

· Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

· Work closely with supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines

· Adhere to all company health and safety procedures

Requirements

· Proven experience as a welder and/or fabricator

· Strong ability to read and interpret drawings

· MIG welding experience essential

· Experience working in a steel processing or manufacturing environment

· Willingness to work across both fabrication and machine operation

· Strong attention to detail and quality standards

· Good teamwork and communication skills

Experience with plasma cutting, drilling lines or automated processing equipment is an advantage but not essential.
