eBay is seeking a strategic, commercially minded, and highly collaborative Senior Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead the company’s enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes. This leader will play a critical role in shaping eBay’s financial strategy, providing actionable insights that inform business decisions, optimize resource allocation, and support sustainable long-term growth. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the Senior Director will bring a combination of financial expertise, business acumen, and intellectual curiosity to help navigate the opportunities and complexities of a dynamic global marketplace.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of FP&A, this leader will partner closely with the CFO, executive leadership team, and finance leaders across the organization to translate financial performance into meaningful business insights and strategic recommendations. The successful candidate will bring experience leading Corporate FP&A within a complex, publicly traded company, with a demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. This individual will be an exceptional communicator, capable of distilling complex financial and business issues into clear, compelling narratives that inform executive decision-making and support investor and Board-level communications.
Beyond delivering financial rigor and operational excellence, this leader will help shape the continued evolution of eBay’s finance organization. They will challenge conventional approaches, champion simplification and standardization, and leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled analytics, advanced data visualization, and end-to-end process automation, to enhance forecasting capabilities, accelerate insights, and enable more effective decision-making. Equally important, this individual will be an inspiring people leader who builds high-performing teams, fosters collaboration, and creates a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
