Senior Deal Desk Analyst
About the role
About Panorama:
Panorama Education is a technology company building the leading platform for student insight and action in K-12. We help modern school systems understand what students need and take effective action. By bringing together academics, attendance, behavior, and engagement data with AI, we give educators the full picture of every student and the intelligence to decide what to do next. As a mission-driven company supporting 15 million students in 2,000 districts nationwide, the work we do has a direct line to student outcomes every day. Join us and help shape what education looks like for the next generation.
About the Role:
We're looking for a Deal Desk Sr. Analyst to own Panorama's deal desk process from quote through booking. Operating within the Finance organization, this role will be the go-to resource for sales on deal structure and will work cross-functionally with RevOps, Legal, and Accounting to build the processes and best practices that help us scale without slowing the sales process.
As part of a lean team, you will be expected to manage Deal Desk and take ownership of new projects as assigned. This position is especially suited for someone looking to expand their Deal Desk foundations into deeper GTM or financial analysis.
Panorama is here to improve education for every student, and this role gives you a direct opportunity to help our commercial teams bring our products to more schools and districts. We serve more than 15 million students across all 50 states, and as we continue to grow, we need scalable processes that allow us to move quickly while maintaining a high bar for accuracy and thoughtful decision-making.

What You'll Do
Own the deal desk and order management process
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales and Account Management on deal structure, pricing, quoting, and approvals across new business, expansion, and renewal opportunities.
- Structure, review, and process deals based on established commercial standards, with special attention towards non-standard requests (e.g. discounts, payment terms, multi-year structures), balancing customer needs with Panorama's pricing and commercial policies.
- Maintain the sources of truth for deal requirements, sales templates, and approval matrices, establishing greater accuracy and consistency within the sales motion.
- Review all closed deals, amendments, and cancellations for completeness and accuracy within Salesforce, enabling streamlined processing by billing teams.
Cross-functional partnerships
- Partner cross-functionally with RevOps on Salesforce, CPQ, and operational implications; Finance on pricing and discounting; and Legal on non-standard terms to ensure aligned decision-making with the appropriate approval authority.
- Build trusted relationships across functions and become a go-to resource for commercial processes, promoting faster decision-making and a smoother path from deal development through close.
Drive continuous improvement
- Analyze deal data to identify trends in discounting, structures, and approval patterns, surfacing insights that improve pricing decisions and commercial policy.
- Identify opportunities to automate or simplify processes, improve deal turnaround time and accuracy, and reduce operational friction.
- Develop enablement materials and support Sales training on deal desk processes and best practices, increasing Sales self-sufficiency and driving consistent execution.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, Sales Support, or a related analytical/commercial role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand both the details and the broader business implications of a deal.
- Working knowledge of SaaS metrics and commercial concepts, including ARR, bookings, recurring revenue, and discounting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, RevOps, Legal, and other functions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
