THE OPPORTUNITY:

As Technical Product Manager, Compliance Solutions, you'll shape and grow TechInsights' export-control intelligence offerings, anchored by our Compliance Monitor product. These offerings give customers timely regulatory insight, BIS update analysis and expert commentary as they navigate global export control policy.
You'll own the product and content roadmaps, directing analysts, external experts and research fellows to deliver content that answers real customer questions. Working with Platform Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement and Customer Success, you'll help customers assess exposure to new restrictions, screen suppliers and end users, and plan for policy change.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Define use cases, user personas and customer compliance workflows, including the decisions users make, the questions they ask and the evidence they need.
  • Build and communicate the Compliance Solutions product roadmap, including Compliance Monitor, based on customer feedback, regulatory developments, Commercial Segment Leader input and company priorities.
  • Own the content roadmap, allocating work across TechInsights analysts, external experts and the Research Fellow.
  • Maintain structured processes for tracking BIS and export control changes and turning them into content priorities.
  • Write clear statements of work (SoWs) for internal and external contributors, defining scope, schedule, dependencies and success criteria.
  • Drive release and publication cadence, track milestones, and work with Platform Engineering to scope, test and deploy features.
  • Oversee the Compliance Monitor landing page, ensuring timely alerts, BIS update summaries, monthly reports and opinion pieces.
  • Plan quarterly engagement with subscribed customers alongside Product Marketing and Customer Success, and support customer briefings as needed.
  • Support Sales and Product Marketing with demos, positioning and renewals, and use customer feedback to identify coverage gaps.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, International Trade, Engineering or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5–8 years of product management or technical program management experience with compliance, regulatory, technical intelligence or B2B subscription data products.
  • Working knowledge of export controls, BIS regulations (EAR) and Entity List implications, with the ability to explain complex regulatory frameworks clearly.
  • Proven ability to set product and content strategy, build roadmaps, and turn regulatory changes and customer needs into clear specifications and SoWs.
  • Experience directing internal and external contributors (analysts, freelance experts, contractors) to deliver quality content on schedule.
  • A track record of collaborating with Commercial Segment Leaders, Sales, Sales Enablement, Product Marketing and Customer Success.
  • Strong, accuracy-first analytical skills; familiarity with semiconductor supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent writing skills, especially turning technical and regulatory information into clear customer-facing deliverables.
  • A self-starter who is resilient, accountable and detail-oriented, and comfortable where processes are still maturing.

As part of the recruitment process for this position, you will be required to submit your latest citizenship and/or permanent residency information. This information will be used to comply with U.S. Export Control Laws and Regulations.
