About the role

CNC Agency (formerly Coffee ’n Clothes) is an experiential marketing agency born from culture and built for connection. We create experiences, stories, and products that people love and that help brands grow. We put people first and design accordingly, seamlessly blending strategy, creativity, production, and culture to turn ideas into experiences that move people. Because amazing things happen to brands when they build for humans, not algorithms.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Producer to support our Business Development team on a fixed three-month contract. This role sits at the intersection of creative, production, and new business. You will help translate ambitious experiential concepts into realistic, well-researched production plans and accurate, commercially viable budgets that support competitive pitches and new-business proposals. Working closely with Business Development, Project Management, Creative, Account, and Production teams, you will bring a production-minded perspective to the earliest stages of a project. Assessing feasibility, identifying cost drivers, sourcing preliminary vendor pricing, and developing budgets that balance creative ambition with client investment and agency profitability.

This is a dedicated pre-sale production role. The focus is on the bidding and proposal process, from initial brief review through budget development and pitch submission. On-site event execution and post-award production management are outside the scope of this contract.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review incoming RFPs, creative briefs, and experiential concepts to assess production feasibility, scope, timing, and cost.
  • Translate creative ideas into practical production approaches, identifying required materials, vendors, processes, and technical considerations while maintaining the integrity of the creative vision.
  • Develop preliminary production timelines to support pitch development and establish realistic expectations.
  • Build detailed, line-item production budgets for experiential campaigns, brand activations, pop-ups, events, and brand experiences.
  • Develop cost estimates across multiple categories, including fabrication, scenic production, AV, venues, staffing, transportation, logistics, permitting, labor, travel, and other relevant expenses.
  • Research market pricing and obtain preliminary vendor quotes to validate budget assumptions
  • Ensure margin requirements are in line with established pricing guidelines.
  • Develop budget scenarios and value-engineer recommendations to align creative concepts with client budgets.
  • Clearly document assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, and unconfirmed costs within each estimate.
  • Partner with Business Development, Account, and Creative teams to develop accurate, compelling, pitch-ready budgets and production slides.
  • Support RFP responses and competitive pitches with production insights, feasibility assessments, cost breakdowns, and preliminary timelines.
  • Identify production risks, cost sensitivities, and scope gaps, recommending alternative approaches when budget, timing, or technical requirements present challenges.
  • Maintain vendor pricing information, cost benchmarks, and estimating resources to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of budget templates, estimating tools, and pre-sale production processes.
  • Work alongside the PM Lead on each RFP to coordinate production budgeting with the agency fee and staffing exercise, ensuring alignment between production costs, proposed team structure, resourcing requirements, and the overall pitch budget.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in experiential production, event production, bidding, estimating, and agency-side production.
  • Strong understanding of experiential marketing, including fabrication, scenic builds, staffing, logistics, and live-event requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop detailed production budgets for pitches, RFPs, and new-business proposals.
  • Experience sourcing vendors and validating preliminary production costs.
  • Strong financial acumen, with an understanding of production pricing, agency fees, markups, and gross margin.
  • Ability to interpret creative concepts and translate them into executable production plans and realistic estimates.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and budget development tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent pitches and deliver accurate work within tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively across creative and commercial teams.
