About the role
SLR is a global leader in sustainability solutions, working with clients to help make sustainability happen, within a collaborative, people-first culture. With over 5,000 colleagues globally and more than 1,800 across the UK and Europe, we combine local expertise with international reach to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients.
As part of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant to join our thriving Environment Management, Permitting and Compliance (EMPC) team. The team supports clients across the waste, industry, power and energy sectors, helping them navigate complex environmental and regulatory challenges while improving environmental, health and safety performance.
Working as part of a UK team of around 30 specialists, you will deliver high-impact consultancy services, collaborate with multidisciplinary experts and have opportunities to work alongside colleagues from across SLR's global business.
The Role
As an Associate EHS Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact health, safety and environmental consultancy services to clients across a range of sectors, including waste, industry, power and energy.

You will join a growing team providing regulatory compliance and environmental management services to support clients with complex environmental and legislative obligations. While the team currently supports a predominantly UK client base, there are increasing opportunities to work with clients across mainland Europe and collaborate with SLR colleagues around the world.
This role offers significant scope for professional growth, supported by mentoring, technical development and a structured career framework. The preferred locations are Manchester or Bristol, although flexible arrangements will be considered. SLR supports hybrid and agile working practices.
