Web Content Producer, Sales
About the role
Are you a detail-driven digital producer who loves bringing campaigns to life online? Scripps is looking for a talented web professional to create, launch, maintain, and optimize contest and sponsorship experiences across our local television station websites. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of revenue, creativity, and technology — translating sold sponsorship elements into polished digital executions that make advertisers look great and audiences come back for more. From building contest landing pages and managing entry forms to ensuring every disclosure and eligibility rule is exactly right, your work will directly support local station revenue and strengthen the digital presence of Scripps markets across the country. If you thrive in a deadline-driven environment, love getting the details right, and enjoy collaborating across teams, this is your opportunity to make a real impact at one of America's leading broadcasting companies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Create and update contest landing pages, sponsorship hubs, contest pages, entry forms, rules pages, confirmation messaging, and related content in our enterprise content management system (CMS).
- Coordinate intake, requirements, asset collection, production, approvals, scheduling, launch, updates, expiration, archiving, and post-campaign review, as well as expertise on legal guidelines regarding contests.
- Translate sold sponsorship elements into digital executions that accurately reflect client commitments, brand standards, campaign dates, markets, and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary web-production contact for station sales, marketing, creative, digital, legal, and operations teams across multiple markets.
- Perform prelaunch and ongoing quality assurance for links, forms, images, copy, disclosures, dates, mobile display, accessibility, tagging, and overall user experience.
- Ensure official rules, eligibility language, privacy disclosures, sponsor identification, and contest content are posted as approved; escalate legal or policy questions when required.
- Maintain reusable CMS components, page templates, documentation, naming conventions, and organized digital assets to improve speed and consistency.
- Manage multiple simultaneous campaigns with firm launch dates, communicate status and risks, and resolve blockers before they affect station or advertiser commitments.
- Use available analytics and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities to improve traffic, engagement, conversion, and campaign execution.
- Diagnose publishing, rendering, form, tracking, or content issues and coordinate with technical teams or vendors when resolution requires additional support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
- Generally, 3+ years of experience in a related field preferred
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Knowledge of content management systems, web publishing practices, process improvement, and documentation standards
- Ability to create and maintain responsive digital experiences using established tools and standards
- Strong project coordination, organizational, and prioritization skills in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality assurance, identify risks, and escalate issues appropriately
- Clear communication, sound judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of digital advertising, analytics, accessibility, privacy, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on advertiser and campaign needs
- Knowledge of digital media, publishing, contests, and sponsorship campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for troubleshooting and developer collaboration
- Familiarity with digital campaign platforms, tools, and integrations
- Ability to apply enterprise standards while adapting work to local-market needs
