About the Team & Business Line

As an Automation Developer Intern within the Intelligent Automation (IA) team, you will support the development and implementation of automated solutions for the Citco Group. You will work closely with process owners and team members to help streamline and digitize operational processes, contributing to increased efficiency across the organization.

This role is ideal for students or early-career individuals who are interested in technology, motivated to learn Python, and have strong computer literacy. Previous professional experience is not required.

Your Role:

• Participate in development, testing and deployment of Python-based automation solutions.
• Develop scripts, services and data-processing components under supervision.
• Assist with REST API integrations, messaging services and event-driven solutions.
• Support data import, cleaning, transformation and processing.
• Contribute to LLM-based document processing and data-extraction solutions.
• Review business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Assist with testing, technical documentation and production releases.
• Follow coding, source-control and development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions and Agile ceremonies.

About you:

• Currently studying toward, or recently completed, a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Basic Python knowledge gained through studies, training or personal projects.
• Understanding of fundamental programming concepts.
• Interest in automation, cloud technologies, APIs and data processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback and work collaboratively.

Nice-to-Have (Not Required). You will have the chance to learn these skills during the internship:

• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git or data-processing libraries.
• Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure or another cloud platform.
• Exposure to CI/CD, automated testing or DevOps practices.
• Interest in LLMs, prompt engineering and document processing.
• Exposure to UiPath, Blue Prism or Power Automate.
• Familiarity with Agile, Jira or Confluence.

Salary

1153 EUR/mon. GROSS
