Security Officer PT 11p-7am Friday and Saturday

Securitas is looking to hire:

Position: Security Officer 

Location: Somerset, NJ

Pay Rate: $20.50

Shift hours 11:00pm to 7:00pm

Friday and Saturday

• Greet and screen visitors, employees, and contractors upon entry
• Monitor security systems and access control
• Maintain visitor logs and issue temporary badges as needed
• Respond to inquiries and provide directions professionally
• Assist in emergency situations by following established protocols
• Communicate effectively with security personnel and site management
• Adhere to all security policies and procedures

• Must be punctual and reliable – there is no relief coverage, so timeliness is essential
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
• Previous security or receptionist experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and remain alert in a fast-paced environment

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Previous security experience highly preferred.
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one, valid driver's license, and open availability is required for this position.
