Job Description

In our R&D department in the area of Adhesive Systems we are looking for a motivated and dedicated Project Leader. In this versatile position you are the interface between research, production, quality assurance, marketing and application engineering, fulfilling the following tasks and responsibilities: 

• Independent development of products, technologies and their manufacturing processes as well as internal and external implementation
• Leading of project teams; defines and calls for work packages, ensures the transfer of know-how and coordination
• Contact and collaboration with internal and external interface functions
• Manages the expectations of the customer and stakeholder
• Technical support of the products and technologies internally and among customers
• Knows and maintains state of the art technology (e.g. competitive products, specialized literature, congresses, patents)
• Planning and documentation according to the process guidelines, presentations and vindication of the results/projects internally and externally
• Patenting of new technologies and initiating proceeding

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience: Initial experience in R&D as a Junior Scientist, Product Developer, Project Leader, or similar, with expertise in product or technology development; previous experience in adhesives or related industries with deep market and technology knowledge is a plus
• Project Management: Strong understanding of project management principles and ability to manage tasks and priorities
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach
• Collaboration: Builds and maintains internal networks, fostering teamwork and leveraging global resources
• Language Skills: Proficient in English; Good knowledge in German
• Technical Skills: Solid IT proficiency
