News Production Assistant (FT)
About the role
WKRC has an exciting opportunity for a full-time News Production Assistant!
Responsibilities include:
- Operate camera for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscast
- Prep for newscasts including but not limited to:
- Studio and set preparation
- Maintaining studio
- Lighting
- Directing newscasts as needed
- Some editing for newscasts
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Experience preferred but education and/or internship in television or related field will be considered
- Training will be provided
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
- Other hours as needed, on occasion
