Reports to: Director, Finance Transformation
Make finance transformation happen
We are looking for an experienced Finance Transformation Delivery Lead to turn an ambitious FY27 change agenda into measurable, well-controlled delivery.
This is a high-visibility role at the centre of a multi-entity, highly acquisitive international group. You will connect strategy with execution across a portfolio of finance transformation programmes, ensuring that plans are integrated, dependencies are actively managed and teams are set up to deliver.
A major part of the role will be supporting acquisitions. You will lead the finance integration journey from Day 1 readiness through to a stable handover, working with country finance teams, functional leaders, vendors and an offshore build team. You will also help deliver major change across NetSuite, including chart of accounts and multi-book, O2C and P2P, e-invoicing and Brazil tax reform.
This is an opportunity to shape how Finance Transformation delivers change: creating a consistent way of working, developing project managers and bringing the right level of pace, transparency and accountability to a complex portfolio.
What you'll do
Lead the integrated delivery plan
- Own the single integrated plan across the FY27 finance transformation programmes.
- Set sequencing and priorities across each quarter, making dependencies, decision points, delivery gates and build capacity visible.
- Coordinate delivery across programmes so that teams can plan effectively and issues are addressed early.
- Work closely with the Senior ERP Manager to align demand with offshore build capacity.
Deliver acquisition integrations
- Own the finance integration plan for each acquisition from Day 1 readiness through to handover.
- Coordinate entity onboarding, chart of accounts mapping, close activities and related finance readiness requirements.
- Work with country finance teams and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
- Ensure every integration has a clear knowledge-capture deliverable, with appropriate funding agreed before delivery begins.
- Hand delivery to the named run-side integration lead once the agreed outcomes and handover requirements are complete.
Provide strong programme control
- Maintain the portfolio RAID log and ensure risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies have clear owners and actions.
- Identify slippage early and drive recovery within agreed tolerances.
- Escalate when thresholds are crossed, including proposing recovery plans or a re-baseline to the Director.
- Prepare weekly reporting for the Director and the monthly programme board.
- Provide the evidence required for quarterly outcomes assessments.
Build trusted senior relationships
- Act as the day-to-day delivery contact for country finance teams, finance function owners and vendors.
- Be the first point of resolution for delivery disputes involving country finance or stakeholders outside Finance.
- Build confidence through clear communication, fact-based reporting and consistent follow-through.
- Balance the needs of global standards with the practical realities of local finance teams and statutory requirements.
Develop the delivery team and approach
- Lead, coach and develop the project managers across the portfolio.
- Establish a consistent delivery method, governance rhythm and set of templates.
- Create an environment where project managers can move between programmes quickly and work to a common standard.
- Promote practical knowledge sharing and ensure lessons from each migration are captured and reused.
Drive readiness, go-live and handover
- Coordinate the evidence required for each go/no-go decision.
- Ensure readiness risks are visible and owned before a programme reaches its critical gates.
- Produce a complete handover pack for the run owner.
- Obtain the run owner’s sign-off, marking the formal end of delivery responsibility.
The environment
You will be working in a complex and fast-moving finance transformation landscape, including:
- A multi-entity, acquisitive international group.
- NetSuite as the core ERP platform.
- Finance teams across Europe, Brazil and other countries.
- A significant FY27 M&A integration workload.
- Chart of accounts and multi-book transformation.
- O2C and P2P improvements.
- Regulatory change, including e-invoicing and Brazil tax reform.
- Distributed delivery, with build capability in the Philippines working EMEA hours.
This role is about making complex change happen. You will bring structure, pace, transparency and effective decision-making across the portfolio. Those responsibilities remain with the Director, Group Finance technical accounting, ERP and build teams, and the relevant function owners.
Why this role matters
You will have a direct influence on how Finance Transformation delivers one of the group’s most important change portfolios. You will work at the intersection of M&A, finance, technology and operations, helping newly acquired businesses integrate quickly while improving the foundations of the wider finance function.
Success in this role will be visible: clearer plans, faster issue resolution, confident country teams, stronger project managers and finance programmes that reach go-live with the right evidence and a clean handover.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
You will bring:
- Significant experience leading complex finance transformation, ERP or business change programmes.
- Strong programme planning and dependency management skills across multiple workstreams.
- Experience managing acquisition or entity integrations, ideally from Day 1 through to operational handover.
- The confidence to work with senior stakeholders, country finance teams, vendors and delivery teams.
- A track record of identifying risks early and recovering delivery when plans move off track.
Required
• Highly structured, outcome-focused and comfortable managing ambiguity
• Credible partner to senior finance, technology and business leaders
• Relentless on clarity, pace and delivery discipline
• Has led finance integration for acquisitions, from Day 1 readiness through entity onboarding and close to handover.
• Has delivered ERP or finance transformation programmes end to end in a multi-entity group, with several workstreams and dependencies running at once.
• Knows finance well enough to challenge country finance directors on dates and scope: record to report, month-end close, statutory and tax reporting.
• Has run delivery with offshore build teams across time zones, and has led project managers or a PMO.
• Has worked as the senior delivery lead under a design authority: decides how delivery runs, and escalates anything that changes scope, design or outcomes.
• Has handed programmes to a named run owner with formal acceptance.
• Can brief a CFO on status and risk in plain terms.
• Fluent English.
Nice-to-have:
• Knowledge of NetSuite or Oracle.
• Experience building a repeatable integration playbook.
• Brazil or regulatory change programmes such as e-invoicing.
• A recognised programme method certification, and Portuguese.
