Software Platform Partner II CDE: Forma/Project Wise

Role description: The Software Platform Partner II will provide tactical advisory to ensure the business gets the best value from Common Data Environment platforms, applications and services, with a primary focus on Autodesk Forma and Bentley ProjectWise.

Role accountabilities:

• Provide technical and functional guidance for Autodesk Forma, Bentley ProjectWise and associated CDE workflows.
• Provide consultancy support and share CDE and information management best practices across business and project teams.
• Represent Arcadis Technology colleagues in meetings with Autodesk, Bentley and other relevant vendor teams.
• Collaborate with operational teams to support platform adoption, project pursuits, mobilisation and project delivery.
• Engage with project managers, information managers, BIM and digital engineering specialists to understand requirements and recommend appropriate CDE solutions.
• Help administer, maintain and optimise project information within CDEs, including metadata, permissions, workflows, integrations, automation and approved AI capabilities.
• Support platform upgrades, enhancements, testing, license management, usage forecasting and service performance monitoring.
• Promote consistent, secure and ISO 19650-aligned information management practices across project environments.
• Ensure platform knowledge management through the creation, review and support of Knowledge Base Articles and user guidance.
• Support resolution of escalations, user feedback, vendor issues and Level 3 platform support queries.
• Business partner with designated services and contribute to knowledge and best-practice sharing across the tower.
• Collaborate with Arcadis enabling functions to ensure continuous compliance with Arcadis policies, security, privacy and data governance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Good technical knowledge of CDE platforms, applications, integrations and digital project delivery workflows.
• Strong practical knowledge of Autodesk Forma, Bentley ProjectWise or comparable enterprise CDE platforms.
• Understanding of information management principles, ISO 19650-aligned processes, document control, metadata, permissions and approval workflows.
• Experience configuring, administering, supporting or governing CDE environments within engineering, design, construction or infrastructure delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to independently solve technical and operational problems using logical, structured and methodical approaches.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, project teams, technical specialists and external vendors.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within global, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed service levels and project timelines.
• Project management skills, with the ability to coordinate small to medium-sized platform initiatives from inception to operational support.
• Degree-level education in Information Management, BIM, Digital Engineering, Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically five or more years of relevant industry experience in CDEs, information management, digital engineering, BIM, engineering technology or project delivery.
• Experience with APIs, automation, data analytics or low-code tools to extend CDE capabilities is desirable.
• Relevant certifications in ISO 19650, information management, project management, IT service management, Autodesk or Bentley platforms are desirable
