The Role

What you will do

• Perform risk-based internal IT audits, primarily covering IT infrastructure, systems, services and processes supporting IT- services delivered by Kyndryl to its customers; Kyndryl is one of world's largest providers of IT infrastructure services
• Assess complex IT environments, their settings, including cloud platforms, on-premise, networks, operating systems, databases, applications, IT and AI controls and processes and their risks
• Apply the audit methodology to provide reasonable assurance of design and effectiveness of controls, settings and provide advice through advisory engagements
• Perform all phases of the IT audit engagements, including planning, scope determining, testing, including online technical testing, reporting and follow-up
• Prepare clear, evidence-based findings and practical recommendations that explain the risk, potential consequences, and suggested improvements
• Maintain audit documentation that supports conclusions and enables audit quality reviews
• Further improve technology knowledge and knowledge of Kyndryl’s operations, risk profile, and regulatory environment while contributing to team and internal improvement initiatives

Who You Are

Required skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT administration, cybersecurity or audit in related fields, such as cloud, operating systems, databases, networks, mainframes, storage, secure software development and operations (DevOpsSec), or artificial intelligence (AI).
• Understanding of IT and cybersecurity concepts, risks, controls, processes, and configurations
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English, with the ability to explain technical matters
• A collaborative approach to working in global, remote and on-site teams, with willingness to travel internationally when required
• Ability to produce good-quality audit documentation, and meet agreed deadlines

Preferred skills and experience

• Knowledge of security, IT controls, audit and risk management frameworks and concepts, as well as relevant technology, cybersecurity, and data protection regulations, preferably those applicable in the European Union, e.g. DORA, NIS2, GDPR
• At least one relevant professional certification or formal qualification in IT, cybersecurity, AI or audit, e.g. CISA, CISSP, ITIL, ISO 27001 and platform or technical related
• Experience reviewing of IT controls, technical settings, and processes in areas such as system configuration, identity and access management, integrated service management, code deployment, change management, incident management, vulnerability and patch management, data integrity and protection, inventory management, business continuity and disaster recovery, risk management and governance, and third-party management

The salary range for the position in Slovakia is 2230 to 4000 EUR based on a full-time schedule at the time of posting. Your final compensation offer may vary depending on several factors such as job-related skills, education and experience that selected candidates bring to the team.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below the local minimum wage requirement.
