About the role

You are the bridge between the doctor’s recommendations and a patient’s decision to move forward with care. We are looking for a Treatment Coordinator who is confident, compassionate, organized, and committed to helping patients understand the value of their treatment. You will guide patients through treatment plans, insurance benefits, and financial options while helping them feel informed and comfortable saying yes to the care they need.

  • Present treatment plans clearly and confidently, helping patients understand the benefits of proceeding with care
  • Discuss treatment costs, insurance estimates, financing options, and payment arrangements in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Help patients overcome barriers to care and feel confident moving forward with treatment
  • Follow up consistently with patients who have unscheduled treatment and work to convert treatment acceptance into scheduled appointments
  • Schedule treatment efficiently while maximizing provider productivity and meeting production goals
  • Coordinate treatment scheduling with doctors, hygienists, and clinical team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage in clear, easy-to-understand language

  • A good attitude. You stay calm, friendly, and professional with a ringing phone, a full lobby, and an upset patient all at once.
  • Team first. You jump in without being asked, communicate openly, and help the whole office succeed.
  • Comfort with money conversations. You can talk about cost and ask for payment clearly and confidently, without pressure and without avoiding it.
  • Ownership of the schedule. You treat an open slot or a patient leaving without an appointment as a problem to solve.
