About the role
As a Senior Consultant SAP CO/PS (m/f/d/x), you will play a key role in our customers’ digital transformation. You will support complex S/4HANA implementation projects across a range of industries, serving as a subject matter expert and trusted point of contact for both the project team and customer management. Your key responsibilities:
- End-to-end consulting: Independently support our customers through ERP transformation, focusing on SAP Controlling (CO) and SAP Project System (PS) in the S/4HANA environment.
- End-to-end project responsibility: Take functional ownership of work packages and subprojects across all phases—from process analysis and solution design through customizing and integration testing to go-live and hypercare.
- Solution design and integration: Develop robust, future-ready architectures and coordinate functional alignment with related modules, particularly SAP FI.
- Mentoring and knowledge sharing: Provide subject matter guidance and support to team members, and continuously develop project best practices.
Your profile
In addition to in-depth expertise in SAP CO and PS—including at least five years of experience in consulting, solution design and customizing for SAP Controlling (CO) and SAP Project System (PS)—you bring the following qualifications:
- SAP S/4HANA and FI integration: Proven experience in S/4HANA transformation projects and a strong understanding of end-to-end processes at the SAP FI interface.
- Project and requirements management: Several years of experience managing work packages, strong requirements engineering skills and a proven ability to analyze business processes.
- Technical foundations: Basic knowledge of ABAP, particularly debugging and understanding code, to support efficient issue analysis and coordination with development teams.
- Stakeholder management and communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills in customer-facing settings, along with strong analytical thinking.
- Languages and mobility: Business-fluent German and fluent English, as well as willingness to travel (approximately 50–75%).
Nice to have skills
- SAP S/4HANA certifications, such as in S/4HANA Financials or Management Accounting
- In-depth knowledge of related modules such as SAP FI, SD, MM or PPM (Portfolio and Project Management)
- Experience with modern SAP architectures, SAP Fiori and S/4HANA Cloud solutions (public or private cloud)
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or reporting and business intelligence
- Recognized project management certifications, such as Scrum, PMI/PMP or PRINCE2
- Hands-on experience facilitating workshops using design thinking methods
