Senior Account Manager
About the role
About the Role
WonderBotz is looking for a high-energy, field-focused Senior Account Manager to win new enterprise clients for our intelligent automation, AI, and digital transformation services. This is a hunter role: you will own your territory, open doors with new logos, build face-to-face relationships with business and technology leaders, and drive deals from first meeting through signed contract. You will work closely with our pre-sales, delivery, and U.S. leadership teams to shape solutions and close revenue.
Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities: New Logo Acquisition (Primary Focus)
- Prospect, qualify, and win new enterprise and mid-market clients in the assigned territory and target industries.
- Spend most of your time in the field—meeting prospects in person, running discovery sessions, and building a strong local network.
- Build and execute a territory plan: target account list, ideal customer profile, outreach cadence, and quarterly pipeline goals.
- Generate your own pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, industry events, partner ecosystems, and executive networking.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual new-logo bookings and revenue targets.
- Deal Ownership & Closing
- Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, discovery, solution shaping, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Engage and influence C-suite (CXO, CIO, COO, CFO) and operational stakeholders; map buying centers and decision processes.
- Partner with pre-sales and solution architects to run workshops, demos, and proofs of concept that showcase business value.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contracting (MSA/SOW) in coordination with leadership and legal.
- Apply a structured qualification method (e.g., MEDDICC, BANT) to keep the pipeline realistic and forecastable.
- Account Growth & Relationship Management
- Convert first wins into long-term relationships; identify expansion and cross-sell opportunities across automation, AI, data, and cloud.
- Ensure a smooth handover to delivery and stay engaged as the trusted client advisor post-sale.
- Pipeline, Forecasting & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast data in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot); provide weekly updates.
- Work with U.S. sales and marketing counterparts on account-based campaigns, events, and thought leadership in the territory.
- Share market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and client needs to inform go-to-market strategy.
- Represent WonderBotz at industry forums, client events, and partner meetings to build brand presence.
Success Measures (KPIs)
- New-logo wins and total contract value (TCV) booked against target
- Qualified pipeline created (typically [3–4x] coverage of quota)
- Win rate and average sales-cycle length
- Field activity: prospect meetings, CXO engagements, and workshops per month
- Forecast accuracy and CRM hygiene
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- [8–12] years of B2B enterprise sales experience in IT services, automation, consulting, or technology solutions, with at least [5] years in a new-logo / hunter role.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding new business quotas and closing multi-crore / multi-year service deals.
- Established network of decision-makers in one or more industries (e.g., BFSI, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, GCCs).
- Solid understanding of intelligent automation (RPA), AI/GenAI, data & analytics, and cloud — enough to have credible business conversations and spot transformation opportunities.
- Experience selling consultative, solution-led services with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and MS Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory; valid driving license preferred.
Required Skills
- A natural hunter — self-driven, resilient, and energized by opening new doors.
- Comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating with remote and global teams.
- Business-first mindset: connects technology to measurable client outcomes (cost, speed, quality, risk).
- High ownership, integrity, and accountability for results.
- Curious and quick to learn new offerings and industries.
Benefits
- Competitive fixed pay plus performance-linked sales incentive plan, determined by level and experience.
- Benefits: health insurance, paid leave, and holidays in line with company policy.
- Travel and field expenses reimbursed as per company policy.
- Structured onboarding and product/solution training.
- Hiring now for immediate joiners.
