Imagix Dental of Suwanee is looking for an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team on a part-time basis! We’re seeking a dependable, skilled dental professional who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and supporting our clinical team.

Position Overview
As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and clinical team to support patient care, assist with dental procedures, and help ensure a smooth and comfortable patient experience. The ideal candidate has at least two years of hands-on dental assisting experience, the required expanded functions qualifications, and current X-ray certification.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist with examinations, procedures, and patient treatment.
Perform expanded functions within the scope of your qualifications and applicable state requirements.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment.
Take dental X-rays as needed.
Maintain sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.
Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their appointments.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
Work collaboratively with the dental team to support efficient office operations.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience required.
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) qualification required.
Current X-ray certification required.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control standards.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Schedule
Part-time: Tuesdays, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
Compensation
$20–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
