Job Summary

NCR VOYIX Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Site Reliability Engineer (I) to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical systems and services. You will contribute to the automation of operational tasks, implement monitoring solutions, and participate in incident response, all while learning and growing within a supportive SRE environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for production systems.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues, collaborating with development teams as needed.
• Contribute to the automation of operational tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Help maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software deployments.
• Assist in the analysis of system performance, identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions for optimization.
• Document operational procedures, runbooks, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to promote a culture of reliability and operational excellence.
• Learn and apply SRE best practices, tools, and technologies.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required after appropriate training and ramp-up.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Bash).
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• 0-2 years of experience in the role or a related field.
