About the role

Identity and access sits underneath everything our customers do with DataSnipper. It determines how organisations are set up, how their people sign in, who can see and do what, and how that is evidenced to the security teams and auditors who check. It needs to be secure by default and reliable enough that nobody has to think about it.

Our customers are audit firms and finance teams working with confidential financial data, from regional practices to the largest global networks. Getting identity and access right is a large part of why they trust us, and a large part of how we win and grow enterprise customers.

You will own product strategy and direction for identity and access across our platform. Your users are customer administrators and IT and security teams, and the product teams across DataSnipper that build on what you provide. You will work with a dedicated engineering team in Amsterdam.

About DataSnipper

The hardest AI problems aren't about getting an answer fast. They're about getting one people can trust.

We believe trust is essential to how society works. Every day, we rely on information that's been independently verified, from financial statements to the products we buy, to the sustainability claims companies make. Behind that trust are audit and finance professionals who examine evidence, verify information and hold organizations accountable.

At DataSnipper, we build AI solutions that empower those professionals. By making evidence easier to trace and verify, we help them focus on the judgment and expertise that make their work so important.

For our product and engineering team, this is where things get exciting. In audit, a plausible answer isn't good enough. Every output has to be explainable and traceable back to its source. We've just launched a brand new agentic platform, Alwin by DataSnipper. AI agents running in the cloud across hundreds of documents at once, reasoning across PDF, Word and Excel, with a full audit trail behind every step. There are lots of greenfield problems ahead, and real room to shape what we build and how we build it.

And we build at scale. More than 600,000 professionals across 3,000+ organizations in 175 countries rely on DataSnipper, including Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and all Big Four audit firms. In 2025 alone, the DataSnipper platform delivered more than $1.4 billion in productivity savings to is customers. Backed by a $100 million Series B led by Index Ventures, at a $1 billion valuation, and as proud members of 1% for the Planet, we care about how we grow, not just how fast.

If you want to build AI that professionals trust with work that really matters, this is your chance to help shape the future of audit and finance and do the best work of your career along the way.

What you'll own

  • Own how customers sign in, how their users are provisioned and managed, and how access is granted, reviewed and removed

  • Shape an access model that product teams across the company build on, so access behaves consistently everywhere in the product and is hard to misuse

  • Give large organizations the controls they need to manage access at scale: who can use what, how users are grouped, and how provisioning works with their own identity provider

  • Make administration simple enough that customer IT and security teams can manage their organisation without needing us, working closely with other product teams on the admin experience

  • Work out how access should work as automation and AI take on more of the work: what they are allowed to do, on whose behalf, and how it is recorded

  • Make least privilege the easy option rather than the tedious one, balancing security against usability, and the needs of smaller customers against the largest enterprises

  • Run a platform roadmap that other teams plan against: gather what product and engineering teams across the company need, agree ownership and sequencing with them, and make dependencies visible early

  • Act as the product voice in enterprise security reviews, and translate security, privacy and compliance requirements into product decisions

  • Lead across functions without formal authority, bringing engineering, design, security, customer success and sales into one plan, with explicit trade-offs and measurable results

What you'll bring

Must-have:

  • 5+ of product management in B2B SaaS, including platform or infrastructure products that other teams build on

  • Experience with identity and access in enterprise products: single sign-on (SAML, OIDC), user provisioning (SCIM), and role-based or fine-grained permissions across organisations with complex structures. Strong technical depth and real interest in the space can substitute for direct experience

  • Enough technical depth to work as a peer with engineers on authentication and authorization design, and to write specifications engineers review for feasibility

  • Experience with enterprise customers: security reviews, IT administrators and procurement requirements

  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001 and FedRAMP, and how they shape identity and access requirements

  • Experience running a platform roadmap with several dependent teams as its customers, and aligning product, engineering, design and go-to-market around it without formal authority

  • Clear written communication, and the ability to explain trade-offs to engineers, customers and leadership

  • Hands-on use of AI tools to accelerate learning, productivity, and team collaboration

Strong-to-have:

  • Experience with identity platforms such as Auth0, Okta or WorkOS

  • Products for regulated industries such as audit, financial services, legal or healthcare

  • A background in software engineering

  • Experience defining access for AI or automated systems

What Success Looks Like

  • Customers set up their organisation and manage their users without needing our support

  • Product teams build on a shared access model and plan against a roadmap they trust, instead of building their own

  • Enterprise security reviews move quickly and rarely raise identity concerns

  • Access for automated and AI-driven work is clear, controlled and auditable

  • Sign-in and access are reliable enough that customers and internal teams rarely have to think about them
