Senior Cloud Technician

What you'll be doing:

As a Senior Cloud Technician (Tier 2), you'll be a key part of delivering secure, high-performing cloud solutions for our customers. Acting as a senior escalation point within our Managed Services team, you'll tackle technical challenges across Azure, Windows Server, virtualisation, networking, and hybrid infrastructure environments.

 

Working closely with customers, engineers, and technical leads, you'll:

• Resolve cloud and infrastructure issues from investigation through to resolution
• Support and optimise Azure services, including IaaS workloads and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Manage and maintain Windows Server and virtualised environments across customer estates
• Contribute to service improvement, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance, security, and operational efficiency
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge across the team

We want to hear from you if you:

Essential:

• Have hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure IaaS environments
• Have strong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills
• Have experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including FSLogix
• Are confident troubleshooting across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure
• Have a solid understanding of networking and storage technologies
• Thrive on solving complex technical issues and seeing them through to resolution
• Enjoy collaborating with colleagues and delivering excellent service to customers

Desirable:

• Hold an AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator) certification, or are working towards one
• Have exposure to Linux administration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, or DevOps practices
• Have experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
• Have knowledge of ITIL principles and service management best practices
