Job Description
- Manage the cost estimation process for projects in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, and engineering.
- Analyze proposals, architectural drawings, and specifications to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates and negotiate with vendors and contractors to achieve the best possible cost.
- Update and maintain estimate databases and software to ensure accurate and up-to-date cost information.
- Participate in project bids and client proposals to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Senior-level estimating experience in the electrical construction industry
- 100% proficient in Candy
- Strong experience in MV substations and MV reticulation/works
- Construction electrical experience is essential
- Able to independently compile and manage tenders from enquiry through to final submission
