Mechanical Design Engineer

abra professional services is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop innovative mechanical systems, from initial concept through to production, across a variety of advanced technological applications.

This is a full-time position located in central Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems involving motors, mechanisms, robotics, plastics, and electronic packaging.
• Apply creative thinking and a system-level perspective throughout the development process.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturability requirements.
• Work with subcontractors to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Requirements

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory.
• At least 6 years of proven experience in mechanical design – mandatory.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks – mandatory.
• Experience designing systems involving motors, robotics, and mechanisms – mandatory.
• Strong understanding of development processes and ability to think strategically – mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams – mandatory.

Advantages:

• Familiarity with PDM (Product Data Management) systems.
• Experience working with subcontractors.
